Rooted in Kumbeshwar Technical School’s tradition of craftsmanship and community since 1983, Konti brings together skilled hands, natural materials and responsible production to create thoughtfully made products in Nepal.
Women are at the centre of this work. 40 of our 50 full-time team members are women, and 35 women artisans knit, weave and finish Konti pieces in our production facilities. More than 1,600 women work from home, earning an income around their family and household responsibilities.
We support them with training and steady production work, so that craft becomes a livelihood that is dignified and built around their skills.
Konti also works with brands and businesses looking for a responsible production partner in Nepal.
We support projects from product development and sampling through to production, in knitwear, weaving and natural fibres, for partners who value craftsmanship and responsible making.

Konti is the consumer brand of Kumbeshwar Technical School, a Fair Trade organisation based in Patan, Nepal, working since 1983. Kumbeshwar Technical School has been a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation since 1997 and has been certified since 2021. Kumbeshwar Trading Centre facilitates our export and wholesale orders.
